No mess. No fuss. Here’s how to hard boil eggs in an air fryer in just minutes, without having to wait for a pot of water to boil.
We use our air fryer a lot. I mean a lot. At least once a day and very often more than that. On our sister site Urban Bliss Life, we’ve got recipes for everything from air fryer chicken wings and air fryer lobster tail to air fryer cinnamon rolls.
But it’s also a great way to make hard boiled eggs. And it takes just a few minutes.
- 1 -6 large eggs
✅ Step-by-step instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 270° Fahrenheit (130° C).
- Add your eggs to the basket.
- Cook for for 15 minutes.
- Then place the eggs in an ice water bath for 7-8 minutes until fully cooled.
- Peel when they’ve cooled down enough to safely handle them.
⭐️ Note : If you want to make soft-boiled eggs in the air fryer, simply reduce the cooking time to 10 minutes.
Store hard boiled eggs in a rigid, airtight container in the fridge. This will help protect them from drying out and from being crushed by other items in the refrigerator. Unpeeled hard boiled eggs will stay good for up to 1 week in the fridge.
