If your wings aren’t already split into drumettes and wingettes with the tips removed, you can do this yourself or leave them whole. For convenience, look for party-style wings, which come pre-split.
While you can cook wings straight from frozen in the air fryer, it's best to thaw them first. Thawed wings get crispier and hold seasonings better. If cooking from frozen, ensure the pieces aren’t stuck together and add 5–7 minutes to the cook time.
To bake wings in the oven: Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with cooking spray and arrange the wings in a single layer. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes, flip the wings, then bake for another 20–30 minutes until crisp.
