Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls such as Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ tablespoons plain Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Keeping the rolls attached together, carefully slice them in half and place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet; set the top halves aside.
  • Make the honey mustard sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, Greek yogurt (or mayo), and honey.
  • Spread the honey mustard sauce over the bottom halves of the rolls (you may not need to use all the sauce, depending on how much you like). Add the sliced ham in an even layer, followed by the shredded cheddar. Place the roll tops on the sandwiches.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter.
  • Bake for 8-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through. Cut the sliders apart before serving, using either a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.

Notes

To make ahead, prep the sliders up to 24 hours in advance and store them in the refrigerator. Then, brush with melted butter and bake when ready to serve.
Store leftover sliders in an airtight container for up to 2 days. To reheat, cover with foil and heat in a 350°F oven for 5-10 minutes, until warmed through.
