Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups lowfat milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed optional
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches or pineapple

Instructions
 

  • Add the banana, Greek yogurt, milk, flaxseed, and roughly half of the frozen fruit to your blender. Starting with just part of the frozen fruit helps the blades move more easily and creates a smoother blend at the beginning.
  • Blend the mixture on high speed until it becomes mostly smooth and creamy. Then, add the remaining frozen fruit and continue blending until the smoothie reaches a thick, even consistency with no chunks remaining.
  • Once fully blended, pour the smoothie into glasses and serve right away while it's cold and refreshing. This recipe works great for a quick breakfast or a healthy snack.
